Beginning July, the Mission and Ministry Fund will start a new year of advancing the mission of the congregation and providing for the needs of the poor. The Ministry Support Fund will have two parts. We have always given LARGE grants to organizations supporting works of compassion and mercy. Beginning this year, we will also include MINI grants. These will be offering smaller grants (up to $2,000) for particular needs of an organization.
The Guidelines, Application, and Accountability forms for the Mini Grants are on our website under “Ministry Support Fund.” A Sister, Associate, ‘Ohana or Partner in Mission may nominate an organization that has a particular need by filling out the application and sending it to Sr Carol Brong, CSJ cbrong@csjla.org. These requests will go to the Ministry Support Fund Committee for consideration. These grants will be ongoing (no deadline) as funds are available.
